Hi Robert,
Sad to say that I have never heard you before your concert in Cranbrook and during the brake, I went out and bought all your CD's. Stood up twice, something I seldom do.Your accompanyment was awsome.I play guitar as well, not too bad either, though more Chet Atkins style. I am trying my best to introduce dancing to Cranbrook and my first Salsa class Monday evening, brought close to 100 people. I would be interested in you playing for a dinner dance and concert in the future.Perhaps next fall you will come are way again. You were Great. Gerald

Bravo Robert!
I was at your show in Laval saturday February 1st, and it was delight at first sound and sight. I bought your last album of course.
Not only do you and your musicians play very personal good music but you obviously love your public and the public responded accordingly right away.
Just to tease you a little bit, do a most memorable evening. You and your music touch people's very soul. Best of luck in the future!!

Just a note to mention that you totally astonished us yesterday when opening for Holly Cole in L'Assomption. The music, the energy and your obvious pleasure to play combined for our enjoyment and pleasant surprise. Even though my friend is a big Holly Cole fan, we both agree that you stole the show. One thing is for sure, you now have two additional fans and we will definitely check for your next show in the Montreal area while listening to your CDs.

Dear Robert, time flys very quickly when someone is persuing their dreams. Its been a long time since we had seen each other but you know what despite your success your still the same person I remember going to school with many years ago. Please forgive me I knew you were talented but I have to tell you I nearly fell off my chair when I heard your first album and someone told me that it was you. Robert,I have to tell you from that day on I tried to figure ways to contact you but did not know where to start, until I bumped into you merely by accident and we talked what seemed for hours. I love your music and feel fortunate to have grown up together and hope that somehow we could keep in touch or get together for lunch dinner or even a coffee. P.S I know you have a busy schedule, but when ever you have the time lets do it for old time sake.Your friend from the neighbourhood Lou.

Yesterday night, went to the Holly Cole concert in Trois-RiviËres. Here comes a man on stage, very humbly says 'good evening, my name is Robert Michaels'. He sits and starts playing guitar.
HOLY COW, WHO IS THAT MAN? HE PLAYS LIKE AL DIMEOLA! Tears came up to my eyes, I was astonished. And the band, Oh! My God. Arturo Sandoval's disciple on percussions (oh! yea, with the trumpet too!).
I loved it. Excellent music, very entertaining. Virtuoso de la guitare!
Thanks soooo much. This is what music is all about: emotions. Bravo again

Robert, my wife and I had the pleasure of seeing your concert for the second time now at the LAC in Mississauga Dec 6th. The concert was even better than the last time we saw you at the LAC but the part of the evening that was amazing was being invited on stage with you to play my 'cheese grater' (as you called it). We have all of your CDs and our young daughters (Natalie 10 and Cassie 8) love to listen to them as well. We plan on bringing both of them to the concert next time and look forward to seeing you and the band again. Thanks for a wonderful evening and experience. Rob.

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending your concert on Dec. 6, 2002,at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. The concert was FANTASTIC!! You brought tears to our eyes and you and the band thoroughly deserved the standing ovation at the end. Robert Michaels is an amazing talent and we felt honoured and privileged just to be in the superstar's ray of light. Thank you for sharing with us all.

Just saw the concert in Mississauga. WOW! Awesome performance by him, the band, and the Puentes Brothers. All in all a wonderful night. I was with my girlfriend, and on one of our first dates, went to the CNE in 97 and saw Robert Michaels for the first time. I got a picture w/ him then, and got one on Friday (dec 6). A great guy off the stage as well. Bravo!!

A few weeks back I entered the ìIn the Air Tonight Videoî contest. Thanks to Robert we were able to see him live on November 15, 2002 in Hamilton, Ontario. THANK YOU ROBERT! The show was fantastic, romantic, electrifying, funny, very emotional, diverse, upbeat, calming, very intense and fun!
It has been several years since I was in the presence of Robert Michaels. Three years ago Canada Day at Torontoís Harbourfront is where I first experienced the magic. Then his fingers were moving at lighting speed. You could hear each note cleary plucked. NOW his fingers move at super sonic speeds very much in control as he caresses the neck of his guitar. I thought that he could not get any better. I was wrong. He is amazing! Let me tell you with his guitar he can stand on his own two feet. He demonstrated that when he gave us a solo, enough said.
You daughter is beautiful! She dances gracefully in the grand tradition of her ancestors.
Your musical group is a well-oiled machine that can move from zero to one hundred in thirty seconds!
May you have a very Merry Christmas and another successful New Year!
I can't wait to see you again!

I thoroughly enjoy listening to your CD 'Allegro'. Interesting enough, I was able to adapt my belly dance routines to your music. However, words can't describe how moved and touched I was with your concert at Hamilton Place. Next time you're around my city, count on me.......I will be there. You are an awesome talent!
